Beautiful beach located just north of Nazaré.

Vale Furado Beach has a very long strip of sand, measuring a good 1.5 km. The backdrop of these cliffs as you walk on the beach is truly mesmerising. The cliff contains several freshwater springs along its length, and this natural feature gives the beach its name.

This part of the coast greatly alters the amount of sand available depending on the tidal period.
Access is from the north area next to the houses in Vale Furado.
