Located just 2 km north of Baleal beach, Praia da Almagreira stands out for its unique landscape designed by the cliffs and dunes that stretch across the sand. Almagreira appears to have been protected from human intervention, maintaining a practically wild appearance, which makes it so stunning.

It is a beach with an entire stretch of immense coastline and unique vegetation surroundings. It’s not very accessible to everyone, but anyone looking for these sands will find a space just for themselves. Those who want to practice their surfing and other water sports will also find a good spot here.

The only special care to be taken is the danger of  overhanging cliffs collapsing, so be careful.and don’t spread your towel right underneath them!
