Praia Paredes de Vitória

Paredes de Vitória Beach ends in two vegetation-covered slopes with acacia the prevailing type of flora. The slopes are well known to hang gliders for the excellence of this site for their sport.

In the central area, next to a small settlement, the majority of sunbathers tend to congregate in close proximity to the facilities such as the café terraces, restaurants and a children’s park.

Breaking on these huge open sands are strong waves, ideal for surfing, with the rocky formation known as the “castle” to the north, separating the beach from the neighbouring Polvoeira Beach.
